Our second day in Vancouver was supposed to be our last day in there, but a lot happened. Keep reading to find out why we didn’t leaving the city after two days.

While we were having lunch on our first day there, we were looking at the seaplanes by Coal Harbour and we decided to go on it. Since they didn’t have more seats for that day we booked it for the next day, we were so excited for it.

We went for breakfast, then we went for a little shopping and after it we went for the planes.

O nosso segundo dia em BC era suposto ser o último, mas aconteceu muita coisa. Continuem a ler para saberem o porquê de não termos deixado a cidade depois de dois dias.

Enquanto estávamos a almoçar no nosso primeiro dia, estávamos a ver os aviões de água no Coal Harbour e decidimos experimentar. Como já não tinham mais lugares disponíveis para aquele dia, marcamos para o dia a seguir, estávamos super entusiasmados para isso.

Fomos tomar o pequeno almoço, depois fomos para uma pequena sessão de compras e depois disso para os aviões.

I believe you have a few options, but we chose the 10min tour, and let me tell you… it’s worth every minute of it!!

You can see the whole entire city. The views are absolutely amazing, and let’s not even talk about the pictures! I don’t think the pictures even make it justice.

I was literally in heaven. It was such a cool experience.

Eu acho que existem algumas opções, mas nós escolhemos a tour de 10min, e deixem que vos diga… vale cada minuto!!!

Conseguem ver a cidade inteira. As vistas são lindas, e nem vamos falar das fotos! Acho que as fotos nem sequer lhe fazem justiça.

Eu estava literalmente no céu. Foi uma experiência maravilhosa.

When we finished our tour, I went to get my nails done. (nails salons are still closed in Toronto)

And we were supposed to catch the last flight of the day.

We went to the airport, we boarded the plane, we took off and I was getting ready to sleep when…

Quando acabamos a nossa tour, eu fui fazer as minhas unhas. (os salões de unhas ainda estão fechados em Toronto)

E éramos suposto apanhar o último voo do dia.

Fomos para o aeroporto, embarcamos no avião, descolamos e eu estava pronta para dormir quando…

The captain made an announcement saying there was a problem and we needed to return to Vancouver. This was 25min after take off.

They didn’t say much to us. We landed back in YVR, went back to the gate, the engineers went on board and said it wasn’t safe to fly on that aircraft.

There weren’t any more flights available that night, so we had to stay an extra night.

O capitão fez um anúncio a dizer que havia um problema e que tínhamos de regressar a Vancouver. Isto foi 25min depois de descolarmos.

Eles não nos disseram muito. Aterramos de volta em Vancouver, voltamos para a gate, os engenheiros foram a bordo e disseram que não era seguro viajarmos naquele avião.

Não haviam mais voos naquela noite, e tivemos de ficar uma noite extra.

I was so happy about it. I didn’t want to come back home anyway, and it’s so weird because before boarding I was posting videos on IG saying how much I wanted to stay there.

Vancouver is definitely my happy place now. I love it there, when I’m in Toronto I just want to go back there.

I even started to consider moving there, but for now I guess I’m jut going there whenever I have the chance.

Fiquei super feliz com a noticia. Eu não queria muito voltar para casa de qualquer das maneiras, e é tão estranho porque antes de embarcar, eu estava a fazer videos no meu IG a dizer o quanto eu queria ficar lá.

Vancouver é definitivamente o meu happy place neste momento. Eu amo aquela cidade, quando estou em Toronto só quero ir para lá.

Até comecei a ponderar em mudar me para lá, mas acho que por agora só vou lá sempre que tiver oportunidade.
