Happy 3rd day of Blogmas everyone!!
I don’t know why, but there’s something about the holidays which makes us start looking at life in a different perspective.
I was thinking the other day, and as much I don’t want to admit this - I am almost 30 years old which it’s crazy! I’m closer to 30 than I am to 25. How did this happen?
I decided to do a list of 30 things I want to do in the next 3,5y. The list was so different a few years ago, but I was lucky enough to be able to cross a lot of things out of it, so I decided to do a new one.
Do you also do these kind of lists, or is it just me? I swear I do lists for everything and I have so much fun crossing things out of it. It feels so good.

Não sei porquê, mas há qualquer coisas nas festividades que nos faz começar a olhar para a vida de uma perspectiva diferente.
Eu estava a pensar no outro dia, e por muito que eu não queira admitir isto, estou quase nos trinta, o que é de loucos! Estou mais perto dos 30 do que dos 25. Como é que isto aconteceu?
Decidi fazer uma coisa de 30 coisas que eu quero fazer nos próximos 3 anos e meio. A lista era muito diferente há uns anos atrás, mas eu fui uma sortuda e consegui riscar várias coisas dela e decidi fazer uma nova.
Vocês também fazem este tipo de listas, ou sou só eu? Eu juro que faço listas para tudo e divirto-me imenso a riscar as coisas delas. Sabe tão bem.

Skydiving
This is something that has been on my bucket list since I remember. I’ve always wanted to do this, and I wasn’t picky about the location until a few months ago when I started to watch some videos about it.
Now, I want to skydive in…. Dubai! This is probably something I will do once in my life, so it’s better be worth it, am I right?
It will be such an amazing experience!
Go to Asia
I can’t tell you enough times how much I am obsessed with Asian culture and yet, I’ve never been to an Asian country before which it’s so sad!
I was supposed to spend my 26th birthday there, but corona happened… so hopefully I can go spend my 27th birthday there. It is my biggest dream trip ever, to go to Asia and spend a few weeks there, and fall in love and maybe never come back haha (I am joking okay? But you’ll never know… haha)
Live for 3/6 months in another country
I’ve lived in Portugal, in the Uk, and to be honest… the bug has been bitting for a while now. I wanted to go to Thailand for 3 months and live there, then I thought about Paris… but because of the situation of the world right now, I can’t go anywhere.
This is something I really really want to do. Living abroad is such an amazing experience, and makes you appreciate what you have at home more.
Saltar de paraquedas
Isto é algo que tem estado na minha bucket list desde sempre. Sempre quis fazer isto, e não era picuinhas sobre onde o queria fazer até há uns meses atrás, quando comecei a ver alguns videos sobre o assunto.
Agora quero saltar de paraquedas… no Dubai! Isto é provavelmente algo que eu só vou fazer uma vez na vida, e então mais vale fazer algo que valha mesmo a pena, certo?
Vai ser uma experiência maravilhosa!
Ir à Ásia
Não vos posso dizer vezes suficiente o quanto eu sou obcecada com a cultura asiática e mesmo assim, nunca fui a um país asiático antes, e é triste!
Era suposto passar lá o meu 26º aniversário, mas corona aconteceu… então espero muito que possa ir lá passar o meu 27º aniversário. É a minha maior viagem de sonho de sempre, ir à Ásia, passar umas semanas lá, apaixonar-me e nunca mais voltar haha (estou a brincar okay? Mas nunca se sabe… haha)
Viver por 3/6 meses noutro país
Já vivi em Portugal, no Reino Unido, e para ser sincera… o bichinho tem estado a morder há algum tempo. Eu queria ir à Tailândia por 3 meses e viver lá, depois pensei em Paris… mas por causa de toda esta situação do mundo neste momento, não posso ir a lado nenhum.
Isto é algo que eu quero muito fazer. Viver noutro país é uma experiência maravilhosa, e faz-vos dar valor ao que têm em casa.
Adopt a cat
I am a cat lady, okay? I love cats. I’m always saying that I’m a cat in a human body. We have the exact same personality, and they’re just so cute!
I had a cat a few years ago, which has my baby. I loved that cat more than I loved some humans around me.
I was completely devastated when he passed away, but I think it’s time to adopt another one. I miss having a cat so much!
Get my PPL
I want get my private pilot license.
No, I don’t want to be a comercial pilot, I wanna fly for fun, on the weekends with my friends…
I don’t know if a lot of you realize this, but being a comercial pilot is so boring!
Write a book
This is also something I’ve always wanted to do. I want to write a book about travel and my crazy travel stories.
I feel like I have so much to tell, so many fun stories that I can’t keep all of that to myself.
Maybe in a near future… you’ll never know.
Adotar um gato
Eu sou uma cat lady, sim? Eu amo gatos. Estou sempre a dizer que sou um gato num corpo humano. Temos exatamente a mesma personalidade, e eles são tão focinhos!
Eu tive um gato há uns anos atrás, que era o meu bebé. Eu gostei mais daquele gato do que da maior parte dos humanos à minha volta.
Fiquei completamente devastada quando ele morreu, mas acho que está na altura de adotar outro. Tenho tantas saudades de ter um gatinho!
Obter a minha PPL
Quero muito ter a minha licença privada de piloto.
Não, não quero ser um piloto comercial. Quero voar por divertimento, aos fins de semana com os meus amigos…
Não sei se muitos de vocês sabem disto, mas ser um piloto comercial é tão aborrecido!
Escrever um livro
Isto é algo que eu sempre quis muito fazer. Quero escrever um livro sobre viagens e sobre as minhas histórias loucas de viagens.
Eu sinto que tenho tanto a dizer, tantas histórias divertidas que não posso guardar só para mim.
Talvez num futuro próximo, nunca se sabe.
Go to a festival
Can you believe that I’ve never been to a festival before?
I’d love to go to Rock in Rio in Brazil, this is one of my biggest dreams. And also go to the Burning Man!
Go for a hike in Grand Canyon
I’ve always wanted to do this, and when I went with my brother to Vegas last year, we left the city with the promise of coming back just to do a hike and a helicopter tour around Grand Canyon.
Read 30 books
I used to read so much when I was younger.
I used to love books, but then the internet happened… and I guess I kinda forgot about books.
I still read, sometimes, but not as often as before. So before I turn 30 I want to read 30 books which is something more than I’ve read in the last 10 years.
Ir a um festival
Conseguem acreditar que eu nunca fui a um festival?
Adorava ir ao Rock in Rio no Brasil, este é um dos meus maiores sonhos. E também ao Burning Man!
Fazer uma caminhada no Grand Canyon
Sempre quis fazer isto e quando fui a Las Vegas o ano passado com o meu irmão, deixamos a cidade com a promessa de voltarmos para fazermos uma caminha e uma tour de helicóptero no Grand Canyon.
Ler 30 livros
Eu costumava ler tanto quando era mais nova.
Costumava adorar livros, mas depois a internet apareceu… e eu acho que me esqueci dos livros.
Ainda leio, às vezes, mas não tão frequente como antes. E antes de fazer 30 quero ler 30 livros que é algo mais do que eu li nos últimos 10 anos.

Spend New Year’s Eve in Dubai
Most people dream about spending NYE in New York City… I’ve always dreamed about spending it in Dubai.
To be honest with you, it was one of the plans I had with my friends… but since my airline isn’t flying there anymore, we decided to go to another place. I was very excited for this, but I’m also very excited for the other place.
Dubai is in my plans for next year, so let’s see.

Passar a passagem de ano no Dubai
A maior parte das pessoas sonha com passar a passagem de ano em Nova Iorque… eu sempre sonhei com o Dubai.
Para ser sincera, era um dos planos que eu tinha com os meus amigos… mas como a minha companhia aérea não está a voar para lá, decidimos ir para outro sítio. Estava super entusiasmada para isto, mas também estou muito entusiasmada para o outro sítio.
O Dubai está nos meus planos para o próximo ano, então vamos ver.

Ugh, eu nem quero pensar nisto, mas com a situação do mundo neste momento, eu nem sei se alguma vez vou voltar a voar outra vez.
Have my own brand
I’ve been dreaming about having my own brand since I was a teen. I’ve always always wanted to have my shoe brand.
I remember I used to draw shoes all the time, and I don’t think I ever shared this here with you.
I used to spend all my free time drawing shoes and dresses. This is such a big dream of mine. Let’s see what the future holds. :)
Quit smoking
This is another thing I’ve never shared here on the blog. I have a terrible habit - I smoke when I’m really stressed, nervous or sometimes when I’m drunk.
I started to smoke really young and I stopped a few times. But for the last three years I started to smoke again.
This is such a bad thing and I really need to stop.
Print out all of my travel pictures
This might be a weird one, and you might be asking “why Rita?” - because I don’t have any paper pictures. NOTHING!
All of my pictures are either on my phone or on my disk drive.
Ter a minha própria marca
Eu sonho em ter a minha própria marca desde que era adolescente. Sempre sempre quis ter a minha marca de sapatos.
Lembro-me que costumava desenhar sapatos o tempo inteiro, e acho que nunca partilhei isto aqui com vocês.
Costumava passar todo o meu tempo livre a desenhar sapatos e vestidos. Isto é um grande sonho meu. Vamos ver o que o futuro nos reserva. :)
Parar de fumar
Isto é outra coisa que eu nunca partilhei aqui no blog. Eu tenho um hábito terrível: eu fumo quando estou super estressada, nervosa e às vezes quando estou alcoolizada.
Eu comecei a fumar muito muito nova e parei algumas vezes. Mas nos últimos três anos, comecei outra vez.
Isto é uma coisa mesmo má e que tenho mesmo que parar.
Imprimir todas as minhas fotos de viagem
Este talvez seja um bocadinho estranho, e vocês até podem estar a perguntar “porquê Rita?” - porque eu não tenho nenhuma foto em papel. NADA!

Queria muito ter feito isto o ano passado, mas infelizmente estava demasiada atarefada com trabalho, e este ano… todos sabemos. Espero que para o ano consiga riscar este da minha lista.

Another plan that 2020 took away from me. This one was supposed to be my last trip before everything closed.
I’ve been to Disney in Paris and I got a little disappointed… so I want to try another one in a different country to see if it’s the same or different.
See the lights of the Eiffel Tower at night
Can you believe this? I’ve been to Paris twice, and I’ve never seen the lights of the Eiffel Tower.
This is so sad. I feel like I’m missing out one of the most beautiful things to see in Pareee.
Learn how to show people I love them
I’ve been trying to learn for the last three years, and honestly I’m getting better.
Showing my feelings to people it’s so hard. I feel like I’m so much better at pushing them away than keeping them in my life.

Ir à Disney em Orlando
Outro plano que 2020 tirou de mim. Esta era suposta ser a minha última viagem antes de tudo ter fechado.
Estive na Disney em Paris e fiquei um bocadinho desapontada… e quero experimentar outra noutro país, para ver se é a mesma coisa ou diferente.

Isto é tão triste. Sinto que estou a perder uma das coisas mais bonita de se ver em Paris.

Ando a tenta aprender isto nos últimos três anos e sinceramente, estou melhor.
Mostrar os meus sentimentos para as pessoas é muito difícil. Eu sinto que sou muito melhor a afastar as pessoas de mim do que as manter na minha vida.

Travel with my parents
The last time I traveled with my parents was when I came to Canada for the first time… I was five years old.
They aren’t big fans of traveling, but I have a dream of taking them to the Caribbean or to the Maldives. I would love to show them the world.
Improve my French
I had three years of French at school and my French sucks. I do understand, but I only speak the airport basics, to be honest.
I would love to improve my French and maybe become a fluent in French again.

Every year is the same thing… I always say that I want to go back to Youtube, but I actually don’t do it.
Guess what? This is another goal that I have for 2021, and I really want to do it, if I’ll be able to travel.

A última vez que eu viajei com o meus pais, foi quando vim ao Canadá pela primeira vez… eu tinha cinco anos.
Eles não são muito fãs de viajar, mas eu tenho o sonho de os levar às Caraíbas ou às Maldivas. Adorava poder mostrar-lhes o mundo.
Melhorar o meu Francês
Tive três anos de Francês na escola e o meu Francês é horrível. Percebo, mas só falo os básicos de aeroporto, para ser sincera.

Todos os anos é a mesma coisa… digo sempre que quero voltar ao Youtube e nunca o faço.
