Third day on this trip and the second day in paradise. Another day without barely any sleep, because we wanted to see the sunrise. It was so worth it.
I’ve seen a lot of sunrises and sunsets in my life, but nothing as beautiful as the ones I saw in this trip.
We spent almost all of our second day in paradise at the beach. We went to Perissa beach.
This was a black sand beach, I’ve only had seen a beach like this once in my life - in Madeira. A Portuguese island.
Terceiro dia desta viagem e o segundo dia no paraíso. Mais um dia sem dormir, porque queríamos ver o nascer do sol. Valeu tanto a pena.
Já vi muitos nascer do sol e por do sol na minha vida, mas nunca tão bonitos como os que vi nesta viagem.
Passamos praticamente quase todo o nosso segundo dia no paraíso, na praia. Fomos para a praia Perissa.
Esta era uma praia de areia preta, e eu só tinha visto uma praia assim uma vez na vida - na Madeira. A ilha portuguesa.
Just relaxing, having some drinks and enjoy the amazing weather. And can we talk about the water? The water was super warm. It was amazing.
Foi a minha primeira vez numa praia em mais de um ano, não sou muito fã de praia, mas nestas férias era tudo o que eu queria. E soube tão bem.
Relaxar, beber e aproveitar o tempo maravilhoso. E podemos falar da água? A água era super quente. Era mesmo maravilhosa.
After our afternoon at the beach, we went back to our Airbnb and some of us went to take a nap… this girl went to the pool because I wasn’t tired of the sun yet and I was a little bit tipsy. So I decided to keep the party going by the pool with some more drinks.
We made a reservation at a restaurant in Oia to see the sunset from there. By this time, I had 10 minutes to get ready otherwise we would miss the sunset again which we didn’t want to.
Depois da nossa tarde na praia, voltámos para o Airbnb e uns foram dormir uma sesta… esta miúda foi para a piscina porque ainda não estava farta do sol e estava um bocadinho entrada já. Então decidi continuar a festa na piscina com mais bebidas.
Fizemos uma reserva para um restaurante em Oia para ver o por do sol de lá. A esta altura, tínhamos 10 minutos para nos despacharmos ou perdíamos o por do sol outra vez, e não queríamos isso.
We made it in the perfect time for the sunset and let me tell you something… this was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my whole entire life.
The sunset, the white houses and the view… it was just unreal. I felt like I was in a dream. I don’t think the photos make it justice to be honest.
After this precious moment, we went to explore the streets of Oia and have a few more drinks.
Conseguimos chegar a tempo do por do sol e deixem-me dizer-vos uma coisa… isto foi a coisa mais bonita que eu já vi em toda a minha vida.
O por do sol, as casinhas brancas e a vista… foi simplesmente irreal. Senti-me como se estivesse num sonho. Acho que as fotos não lhe fazem justiça, para ser sincera.
Depois deste momento precioso, fomos explorar as ruas de Oia e ter mais bebidas.
This was the perfect time to visit the island. Even with this whole pandemic going on the streets were busy, I can’t even imagine without a pandemic.
We probably couldn’t walk around. It was so so worth it tho.

Esta foi a altura perfeita para visitar a ilha, mesmo com esta pandemia as ruas estavam com bastante gente, nem consigo imaginar sem a pandemia.
Provavelmente não iríamos conseguir andar. Mas valeu tanto a pena.
