Oh, Rome…
What can I say about it? So many things.
This trip was really unexpected. It was super last minute, and I was supposed to go to Amsterdam and not Rome. But I don’t regret it at all.
My third time in Italy, first in Rome and definitely not my last one.
Rome is so so so beautiful! I can’t put into words what I felt during my two days in the city.
I have to be honest, Rome wasn’t in my bucket list because I never thought it was something special, but I was totally wrong!
Everywhere you go, everywhere you look all you see is history - and amazing places to take pictures haha
I landed in Rome, around 12pm. Drop my stuff at the hotel, a quick change of clothes and went to discover the city.
My hotel was really close to the Colosseo, and it was my first stop! 1000 pictures later, went to explore near the Colosseo, where you have a lot of things to see.
Then, I wanted to go close to the river to see all the beautiful bridges there. A quick stop for pasta, because when in Italy - It’s a MUST HAVE!
Another quick stop for Gelato, and let me say I could have gelato every 5 minutes.
And I ended my day at Piazza Venezia, where there’s the Altar of the Fatherland. And let me say that is impressive and so beautiful!
Rome got me on my first day there. The beauty of the city is something you can’t explain.

Oh, Roma…
O que eu posso dizer de ti? Tantas coisas.
Esta viagem foi muito inesperada. Foi totalmente last minute, e eu era suposto ir para Amesterdão e não para Roma. Mas não me arrependo de todo.
A minha terceira vez em Itália, primeira em Roma e definitivamente não a última.
Roma é tão tão tão linda! Não consigo meter por palavras o que eu senti durante os meus dois dias na cidade.
Tenho de ser honesta, Roma não estava na minha bucket list, porque eu nunca pensei que fosse alguma coisa de especial, mas estava completamente enganada!
Por onde quer que vão, para onde quer que olhem, tudo o que veem é história - e sítios lindos para tirar fotos haha
Aterrei em Roma por volta do meio dia. Deixei as coisas no hotel, mudei de roupa e fui à descoberta da cidade.
O meu hotel era muito próximo do Colosseo, e foi a minha primeira paragem! 1000 fotos depois, fui explorar perto do Colosseo, onde têm imensas coisas para ver.
Depois, queria ir perto do rio para ir ver as todas as pontes lindas lá. Uma paragem rápida para massa, porque quando em Itália - é um MUST HAVE!
Outra paragem rápida para gelato, e deixem-me dizer que eu podia comer gelato a cada 5 minutos.
E acabei o meu dia na Piazza Venezia, onde está o Altar of Fatherland. E deixem-me dizer que é lindo!
Apaixonei-me por Roma no primeiro dia. A beleza da cidade é algo que não se pode explicar.
