Rita Goes South | Punta Cana I

Hello beautiful people!

You have no idea how happy I am to bring you this post.

Last week of October I had my vacation (yes, even tho I just started working again, I took my week vacation) and I really needed a proper vacation, so I decided to go to the beach.

I just wanted to get drunk, lay on the beach and do nothing for five days. Punta Cana was the choice.

This was also my first time going south, my first time in a new country in over a year and also my first time traveling with my significant other (yes, I need to update you on some little things haha!).

Vocês não têm noção do quanto feliz eu estou por vos trazer este post.

Na última semana de Outubro eu tive as minhas férias (sim, mesmo que tenha voltado a trabalhar há pouco tempo, eu tirei uma semana de férias) e eu precisava mesmo de umas férias a sério, e então decidi ir para a praia.

Eu só queria ficar alcoolizada, deitar-me na praia e não fazer nada durante cinco dias. Punta Cana foi a escolha.

Esta foi também a minha primeira vez a ir para o sul, a minha primeira vez num país novo em mais de um ano e também, a minha primeira vez a viajar com uma pessoa especial (sim, eu preciso de vos atualizar em algumas coisas haha!).

We went on an all inclusive trip. This was also my first time, but I’ll talk a little bit more about it on my next post.

The first thing we did when we arrived at our hotel was, of course, going straight to the bar and grab a drink haha.

After it, we went to the beach… and let me tell you one thing - it felt unreal. It’s exactly like you see in the photos. Palm trees everywhere and blue waters. It felt like I was dreaming. I couldn’t believe we were actually there.

Nós fomos numa viagem com tudo incluído. Esta também foi a minha primeira vez, mas eu vou falar mais sobre isso no meu próximo post.

A primeira coisa que nós fizemos quando chegamos ao nosso hotel foi, obviamente, ir diretamente para o bar e pegar uma bebida haha.

Depois disso, fomos para a praia… e deixem-me dizer-vos uma coisa: pareceu irreal. É tudo exatamente como se vê nas fotos. Palmeiras em todo o lado e águas azuis. Pareceu que estava a sonhar. Não conseguia acreditar que estava mesmo ali.

Punta Cana was on my bucket list for a while… but it was one of those places that I wanted to go with someone special and I’m so glad I did it. It felt like we were on honeymoon the whole entire time.

Most of the people there were couple or families. I think we just saw one or two groups of young people partying.

This is definitely a romantic destination.

Punta Cana já estava na minha lista há alguma tempo… mas sempre foi um daqueles sítios que eu queria ir com alguém especial, e ainda bem que o fiz. Pareceu que estávamos em lua de mel o tempo inteiro

A maior parte das pessoas lá eram casais ou famílias. Acho que só vimos um ou dois grupos de pessoas mais novas.

Este é sem dúvida um destino romântico.
